 Hello...
Hello I guess...

Thought I'd kick of the conversations here with a little hello post - nothing too special really.
I 'spose I had best say a little about myself seeing as this is supposed to be an introduction... I am a student at college studying computing and I like to program in PHP C#.NET and am starting to learn Cocoa etc for Mac. Oh and I can program in VB.NET too but I was on about what I like to program in before.

I have made a couple of websites and done a bit of PHP for them but nothing amazing. My design skills are not great but they get the job done... here are a couple of my sites:
http://www.parkeyparker.co.uk/ - My home page (Still under construction unfortunately... maybe once I have left college I will do something with it.)
http://www.geographize.co.uk/ - A blog for a teacher at my Secondary School - I am integrating PHP with CSS to make a more dynamic theme (Currently the clouds change position on refresh)
http://www.appavirtualservices.co.uk/ - A site for a company I know... I used PHP for the mail form on the enquiries page... I keep updating it when I get time.

So basically that is me... Looking forward to seeing others on here soon!

Post Re: Hello...
Well the only real script I have complete at the moment is my mail form script, however I noticed your new post on your blog earlier talking about using PHPMailer instead of the mail() function which my script currently uses. I think I shall update my script at some point and see if it runs better and more secure.
Maybe I will post a before and after of my code once it is complete as it would be nice to get some opinions as I am still relatively new to PHP having not needed to use it too much so far.

I might make a thread about using PHP with CSS to create a dynamic stylesheets.

Let me know if you want me to format it in any certain way :)

Talk soon
